Aldinga Central Shopping Centre has proudly served the local community since 1 April 1992, when it first opened its doors as a convenient and welcoming retail hub for Aldinga Beach and the surrounding southern Fleurieu region.

Owned and operated by a South Australian family, Aldinga Central is built on strong values, with three generations actively involved. From its early beginnings to today, the centre has grown alongside the community, evolving into a vibrant shopping destination while maintaining its local, family-first feel.

Aldinga Central remains proudly owned and operated by the Lucey family, whose vision and dedication have shaped the centre for generations. At the heart of this is the legacy of the late George Lucey, who played a defining role in establishing the centre, a place incredibly dear to his heart. His influence continues to guide the centre today, and his passing on 1 April 2024, a date that mirrors the centre’s original opening, marks a meaningful connection to the history of a place he brought to life.
